COMPUTERS AND ELECTRONICS
ReSTORE Burlington and ReSTORE Barre are official Vermont E-Waste drop-off facilities. Under the new Vermont E-Waste Law, ReSTORE now accepts the following devices free of charge:

MISCELLANEOUS
WE ACCEPT house wares, games, toys, sporting goods, books, etc.
Winter Items between Sept 16th and April 14th
Summer Items between April 15th and Sept 15th
We accept cribs, highchairs, strollers + swings, IF they meet our safety guidelines
We Cannot Accept
Life saving devices such as bike and sport helmets, life preservers or car seats
Biological contacts such as potty seats, diaper pails, baby baths or medical supplies
Car parts or stereos
Clothes or shoes
Blankets or bed linens
Curtains, curtain rods, or blinds
Exercise equipment
Wall to wall carpeting or carpeting remnants, bath mats or area rugs larger than 10'x10'
Hazardous, toxic or combustible materials such as gasoline, kerosene, paint or thinners.
When donating boxes of item, please put them in a box that you would like to give us. Thank you.
FURNITURE
WE ACCEPT most furniture in good, reusable condition with no stains, tears or odors.
We Cannot Accept
Mattresses
Waterbeds or waterbed accessories
Large metal desks
Unassembled furniture
Baby cribs with drop-down sides
RECRAFT ITEMS
WE ACCEPT clean, industrial & commercial surplus, storage containers & bins, baby food & mason jars, glass jars & containers (call first about food containers), bulk paper & office supplies, yarn, ribbon, string & wire, shells & natural objects, fabric & patterns, scrap mat board, junk/costume jewelry, jewelry, beads, neckties, picture frames, art prints & maps, silk flowers, game & toy parts, packing peanuts & bubble wrap.
BUILDING MATERIALS
WE ACCEPT kitchen and bath fixtures and plumbing; Lighting (Prefer eclectic, unique fixtures); Lumber/Plywood, Framing lumber 6 feet or longer, free of nails, screws or staples, free of rot and unpainted; Plywood, OSB or particle board 6 square feet or larger; Metal work: rebar, steel, copper; stairways in good condition, fencing, hardwood flooring; Insulation: Fiberglass insulation rolls only if wrapped.
We Cannot Accept
Rusted or broken items
Fireplace glass fronts or duct work
Fluorescent fixtures, no ceiling fans, brass/beveled glass combos
Colored toilets or partial units
No partial vanities (i.e. just tops or just bottom cabinet)
Items with asbestos
DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
WE ACCEPT wheelchairs and accessories, crutches, walkers, handrails, power assist beds
